Notice of Meeting Date Change
In accordance with the Michigan Open Meetings Act (MCL 15.261 et seq.), the Ogemaw County Road Commission is providing public notice of a meeting date change. The regularly scheduled Board Meeting originally set for Wednesday, August 26, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. has been rescheduled to Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. This change allows Road Commission staff to attend the Ogemaw County Zoning meeting. A public hearing will be held on the proposed Ogemaw County Road Commission budget for the fiscal year commencing October 1, 2026, and ending September 30, 2027, at 9:00 a.m., or as soon thereafter as the order of business will permit, on September 23, 2026, at 1250 S M- 33, West Branch, Michigan. Seasonal Road Closure Notice
The Ogemaw County Road Commission Board has passed Resolution 2026‑07, temporarily closing all seasonal roads due to severe weather impacts. After the ice storm and now widespread flooding, crews must focus on repairing the primary and local road system where damage is most significant and public need is greatest.
